Hey, player! My name is Joseph Jonathan, founder and CEO of Makellos Games! Here's how it all got started...
When I was little, I spent my time making my own computer games. We couldn't afford the real ones, but I could make my own! Although the graphics weren't as good, they itched my craving to PLAY... and unlocked a new craving to CREATE!
Growing up in Minnesota, there were bugs all over the place. I vowed to never let those pesky bugs into my games. The Promise of Perfection was born!
When I graduated high school, I left for California. The energy was palpable, and my game-making inspiration grew. I couldn't see the stars in the sky anymore, but I somehow felt closer to them.
I officially released my first game, Pee Pee Loui, under my own name, Joseph Jonathan. It was available on the Apple App Store. Without money for quality software, I manually drew all the graphics in a word editor using shapes. I screenshotted each image and masked the white background to make it transparent. For animated objects, I manually created each key frame, making sure to crop pixel-for-pixel so animations were smooth and professional.
Realizing how much I enjoy creating games, I launched Makellos Games LLC in 2017. Our mission is to wow the world by exceeding the expectations of entertainment. In positive energy, we create unique games, encouraging ethics with fair fun and perfect play... the right way!
